San Antonio, Texas – The heart of San Antonio pulsated with Tejano beats as the Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair made its debut at Hemisfair on Thursday, March 14, 2024. This historic move to the iconic venue promised an unforgettable experience for fans, and award-winning Tejano Nation photojournalist Mariaelena Villarreal was there to capture every moment.
From noon till late evening, Hemisfair resonated with the sounds of over Tejano and conjunto artists across four electrifying stages. Through Mariaelena’s lens, we witnessed the raw energy, the soulful melodies, and the vibrant crowd that filled the air with excitement. Mariaelena’s photos immortalized the performers, the fans, and the spirit of Tejano music. Each frame told a story of passion, rhythm, and community.
Highlights from Day One include performances from Destiny Navaira with Rigo Naviaria, Grupo Asalto, Gabriella Martinez, Santiago Garza Y Naturaleza, Grupo Calibre, G5, Daniel Lopez Y Aventura, Keana Huerta, and more.
