Consuela to host Give Back Party for Rancho Alegre on March 16 in Austin

Handbag and accessory retailer to donate 20% of sales between noon and 3pm

Austin, Texas – Austin-based handbag and accessory company Consuela will be hosting a Give Back Party at its Austin flagship store on Saturday, March 16. The retailer will donate 20% of the sales for those three hours to Austin Conjunto nonprofit, Rancho Alegre.

The event is part of the company’s recently launched Consuela Connects initiative, designed to build relationships and recognize the work of various Austin area nonprofit organizations. Past beneficiaries have had varied missions and include the Junior League of Austin, Mission Accomplished, Independent Identity, and more.

Consuela is a fashion and lifestyle brand known for its playful colors, vivid patterns, and versatile and durable designs. The team is located in Austin and in Mexico, where the products are made by Mexican-owned factories and by artists and their communities. Consuela has two brick-and-mortar locations, one in Smithville and the flagship store in central Austin, but Consuela products can be found in other retailers and online.

The Give Back Party for Rancho Alegre will happen from noon to 3pm at the Consuela store at 3500 Guadalupe in central Austin. Those unable to attend in person, but who would like to support Rancho Alegre during this event, are welcome to call the store at 512-201-8024 and phone in their order. Phone orders taken from noon to 3pm will count towards the sales for Rancho Alegre.
