Genyva has premiered the official music video for her latest single, “El Amor De Mi Vida”. This captivating love song is a cover of the hit collaboration by Los Angeles Azules with Maria Becerra.
Genyva shared with Tejano Nation, “The moment that I heard that song while doing a radio/media interview in Monterrey, Mexico, I just had to get in the studio with my producer and make our own version of this song.”
This release follows the success of Genyva’s previous hit, “Aunque Sea En Otra Vida”. “We took our time in the studio and created this masterpiece for all the love birds out there,” said Genyva. “I think love is such a beautiful thing especially when God is in the center of your relationship. I wanted to have a song that you could dedicate to that one person you dream of running away with to not be afraid to give love a chance.”
The music video was filmed at Cirque Italia with a couple, Morgaine Rosenthal and Danilo Fernandez, who actually fell in love while working together at the circus. Their connection and passion for their art added a layer of authenticity to the video. “You will be mesmerized,” said Genyva. “It was great to work once again with Ryan Bazan who always brings my vision to life.”
“El Amor De Mi Vida” was recorded at Majestic Studios. The vocals and harmonies were performed by Genyva, and the song was produced by Salvador “Chava” Chavez. The musical ensemble included Pedro Zavala on accordion and bajo sexto, Raul Singletary on drums, Hector Lerma on percussion, and Jesse Segovia on keyboard.
The single was released on Valentine’s Day of 2024 and is available on all digital platforms. Genyva plans to tour this summer along with the release of a new EP, “Suenos Realizados”, scheduled to be released in May.
