Miami, FL. — The iconic Reggeaton artist Wisin continues to show his versatility and innovative approach to music, this time with his venture into the genre of Regional Mexican music with “Un Shot”, in collaboration with the Corrido Tumbado star Gabito Ballestero. This track will form part of Wisin’s forthcoming album, “Mr. W”.
“Un Shot” produced and crafted exclusively out of Wisin’s record label, La Base, is a heartbreak track that follows in the footsteps of his previous hit, “Himalaya” with Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Pedro Capó.
“I’m excited to be able to share ‘Un Shot’ with all my fans in Mexico and around the world,” expressed Wisin. “This collaboration with Gabito Ballestero represents a new chapter in my career and I am sure that the public will greatly enjoy this fusion of styles and cultures.”

This new release follows Wisin’s three recent Premio Lo Nuestro nominations and a string of consecutive hits over the past year, that include “Mi Exxx”, “Señorita” and “Cuerpo a Cuerpo”. These tracks demonstrate his proven ability to remain a well-respected precedent in Latin music.
Mexico has been a pivotal country in Wisin’s career, as he proudly acknowledges, and recalls his final show at the Foro Sol stadium, where he performed in front of over 70,000 fans, and invited Jhayco to perform a mariachi version of his diamond-certified hit “Fiel”, showcasing his deep bond with the country and its music.
