Their music blends elements of Mexican folk, country, blues, rock, and jazz, creating a unique and original sound that appeals to audiences of all backgrounds and ages.
Ruben Ramos is another legend of Tejano music, with a distinctive voice and style that has earned him the nickname “El Gato Negro”. He has been performing since the 1960s and has won a Grammy Award and several Tejano Music Awards. He is also a member of the Tejano Music Awards Hall of Fame and the Texas Music Hall of Fame. His music is influenced by mariachi, ranchera, bolero, and R&B, and he is known for his charismatic stage presence and smooth vocals.
Roberto Pulido is a pioneer of Tejano music, who started his career in the 1970s with his band Roberto Pulido y Los Clasicos. He is credited with introducing the accordion and saxophone to Tejano music, creating a bridge with traditional conjunto and the modern Tejano. He has won several Tejano Music Awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year.
Together, these three artists form Los Tres Amigos, a supergroup that showcases the best of Tejano music. They have performed together several times in the past, always drawing huge crowds and rave reviews.
