
Irvin Salinas, also known as Pee Wee, was booked on Saturday in Edinburg, Texas, by the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, according to jail records.
Pee Wee was a former co-singer of the popular groups Kumbia Kings and Kumbia Allstarz, which was formed by A.B. Quintanilla, the brother of Selena. He performed big hits such as “Sabes A Chocolate” and “Chiquilla”. He also had a solo career and appeared in some telenovelas.
According to MSN, the 35-year-old singer has not yet appeared before a judge. His bond was set at $1,500, Valley Central reported.
