Fans of The Homeboyz are in for a treat as the Conjunto group is set to release a live album featuring their performance at Silverado Saloon in La Feria, Texas. The live album will capture the energy and excitement of the band’s show together in the Rio Grande Valley, where they have a loyal fan base.
“We decided to do this live CD in the Valley because this is the very first performance that we did as a band together so we felt it would be very special and we hope everyone will enjoy it as much as we did recording it,” The Homeboyz frontman Elias Arredondo tells Tejano Nation.
The live album is produced by Eddie Perez, the Grammy-winning musician and producer behind La Llave Music Group. Arredondo praises Perez for his professionalism and passion for music.
“The recording was a very big success. Eddie Perez and La Llave music group is amazing,” Arredondo says. “He’s very dedicated to his work that’s for sure. He definitely has a passion for music. You can hear it in all his projects. That’s why we are with La Llave Music Group.”
The release date for the live album has not been announced yet, but fans can expect it to be available soon via La Llave Music. The Homeboyz are also busy preparing for a series of shows across the country and beyond, including California, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Seattle, Chicago, Ohio, Florida, and Mexico. They will also visit Colorado and New York for the first time, as well as perform in their home state of Texas.
The Homeboyz are composed of former members of the legendary conjunto group The Hometown Boys. The band features Elias Arredondo, Roman Reyes, Fabian Parra, Ernie Bravo, Gilbert “Korn” Rodriguez, and Michael Gonzalez. They won Best New Group at the Tejano Music Awards in 2022 and Best New Male Artist for Arredondo.
