Emerging Tejano singer Steffanie Martinez got engaged to her boyfriend, singer-songwriter Jeffrey Martinez, in Spain on Saturday (November 18), just days after the couple attended the 24th annual Latin Grammy Awards in Sevilla.
Jeffrey popped the question in a romantic way, during a horse drawn carriage ride at the beautiful Parque de Maria Luisa, where Steffanie said, “Yes!”
”My proposal was the most romantic thing I’ve ever experienced in my life,” Steffanie tells Tejano Nation. She added it was a “blessing to have witnessed Juan Trevino win” the Latin Grammy for Best Tejano Album just days before.

The event was held at the Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) in Sevilla, Spain, on November 16, 2023 . The ceremony was a celebration of Latin music, with performances from artists across genres, including Rosalía, Peso Pluma, and Rauw Alejandro.
Steffanie Martinez is a rising star in the Tejano music industry. Her 11- track debut album, “La Vida,” was released earlier this year and features hits like “La Mascara” and “Besame Abrazame.”
