The film stars Anthony Guajardo as Miguel, a young man who fears he will grow up to be like his working-class father (Borrego), goes to college where his love for the party gets him cut off financially and forces him to sell margaritas in order to stay in school.
The movie is a celebration of Latino culture and identity, featuring a diverse cast of actors, comedians, and musicians, such as Barry Corbin, Raymond Otra, and Sebastien De La Cruz. The film also showcases the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas, where it was shot on location.
