Fans of Elida Reyna Y Avante have been eagerly waiting for new music from the Latin music powerhouse, and the wait is almost over. The group has just shared the first look at the cover art and an audio teaser for their highly-anticipated new single “Cierra Esa Boquita” on their social media accounts.
The cover art features Elida Reyna with a finger over her lips in a symbolic gesture to keep quiet. The title of the song, which translates to “Shut That Mouth”, is written in white letters.
The audio teaser gives a glimpse of the song and the powerful vocals of Elida Reyna, who sings about a woman fed up with hearing her ex-partner talk badly about her in front of others. But there are always two sides to a story, and if the ex doesn’t shut up, she’ll tell hers.
The song was written by Miguel Zola and Rodrigo Barbadillo and produced by Lalo Reyna III, the musical director and drummer of Elida Reyna Y Avante.
“Cierra Esa Boquita” will be released to radio this week and will be available on all digital music platforms soon from Freddie Records.
