
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Tejano musician Albert Zamora Jr, the 22-year-old son of Tejano legend Albert Zamora, was arrested on a warrant for indecency with a child by sexual contact on Thursday (July 6). According to the Nueces Country Sheriff’s Office, Zamora Jr was released on a $25,000 bond.
Zamora Jr is a part of his family band, El Proyecto Zamora. He joined the group in 2018, performing on stage with his father and sister, Lyric Zamora, showcasing two generations. The band has released three singles from an upcoming album, Rompiendo El Silencio. The most recent single is the cumbia “La Esotérica.”
