Lopez Broadcasting Tejano radio station KLMO 98.9 & 92.1 FM in San Antonio, Texas, has shuffled its weekday on-air lineup beginning Monday, May 1.
KLMO-FM Program Director DJ Jale returns on air to take over the morning show from 6am – 10am with the “Puro Jale Show,” Bonnie Hernandez remains in middays from 12 pm – 3pm, and “Bigg Boyee’s Block” takes over the afternoon slot from 3 – 7 pm hosted by veteran radio personality Bigg Boyee. The “Throwback Tejano Cafe” from 10 am to noon will feature Tejano classics.
KLMO launched in April 2019 playing today’s biggest Tejano hits with a splash of classic songs and supporting emerging Tejano talent with new music.
“We will not stay stagnant, we will mix the artists and play what the people want us to play,” said General Manager Carlos Lopez when KLMO launched. “Music has evolved and there are so many new artists that can change the Tejano landscape. We plan to give them a chance to keep moving Tejano forward.”
