Destiny Navaira is the next generation of the Navaira music legacy and the Latin Grammy-nominated singer surprised her father, Raulito Navaira, with news of an upcoming duet with another next-generation singer for an upcoming tribute album Las Letras De Mi Padre, a project filled with songs written by her father and song by her late uncle Emilio Navaira.
Destiny shared the heartfelt video of surprising Raulito with a rendition of “Ya No Me Pones Atención.”
The video reveals Destiny’s rendition of the song features Lupita Infante, Grammy-nominated singer and granddaughter of legendary Pedro Infante.
“We are big-time Pedro Infante fans,” laughed Raulito. “I keep thinking about how proud my dad and brother would be.”
Destiny plans to release the duet with Lupita Infante soon.
