Los Palominos deliver the highly-anticipated release of “Y Por Esa Calle Vive,” the new single from the four-time GRAMMY-winning band and superstars of Grupero music.
“Y Por Esa Calle Vive” is a cover of the classic hit song recorded by the popular grupero band Los Baron de Apodaca in 1981. The ranchera track, which impacts radio stations today (March 29), features an undeniably catchy chorus and dance beat featuring the unmistakable style of Los Palominos. Expect the song to be another huge hit with long-time fans and newer listeners of this iconic band. It’s the second single from a highly-anticipated new album scheduled for release in the summer of 2023 from Freddie Records.
After the incredible success of their previous single, “No Le Digas A Nadie”, (which reached number one on numerous radio charts across the United States, Mexico, and Latin America), sold-out tours throughout the U.S, and a show-stopping performance at Monterrey’s legendary Nortex Festival in 2022, Los Palominos return with one of their strongest productions to date. “Y Por Esa Calle Vive” was recorded at the famed Legends Sound Studios in Corpus Christi, Texas. The track was produced by Los Palominos with executive producers The Martinez Brothers Freddie Martinez, Jr., John Martinez, and Marc Martinez).
Among the present members of Los Palominos are the Arreola brothers which include James Arreola (Lead Vocals, Bajo Quinto, Guitar), Julio Arreola (Background Vocals, Accordion, Keyboards), and Jorge Arreola (Bass, Background Vocals). The Arreolas are now joined by the newest member, Daniel Martinez (Drums, Percussion), who was formerly a member of the popular Regional Mexican groups Conjunto Primavera and Masizzo. This marks a new chapter for Los Palominos since it’s the first time in their history that a non-family member has been part of the group.
