The City of Edinburg will induct three new stars into the Edinburg Music Walk of Fame during an induction ceremony on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Edinburg, Texas. The inductees include award-winning Bobby Pulido, Ricardo Guzman Jr., and Balde Munoz.
Pulido recently celebrated 27 years in the music industry and continues to receive accolades, as his most recent EP release, Para Que Baile Mi Pueblo, received a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Tejano Album at the 23rd Latin Grammy Awards later this month.
Guzman Jr was a legendary bajo player and vocalist for Conjunto band Ricardo Guzman y Los Tres Ases, who passed away in 2019.
Munoz is a legendary Tejano drummer from the Rio Grande Valley. He played with Carlos Guzman Y Su Conjunto, Los Fabulosos 4, Los Unicos, Snowball & Company, Felicidad, Fandango, and dozens of other bands during a career that began in the 1960s.
The induction ceremony will be held at the Region One building Hidalgo ballroom located at 1900 W. Schunior Street in Edinburg. The vent will include performances from inductees Pulido and Munoz, and a tribute performance from Ricky Guzman III, son of Ricardo Jr. Tickets are now available for the Induction Ceremony at EdinburgArts.com/emf. All proceeds will be used to reestablish and renovate the Edinburg Walk of Fame.
