PHARR, TX — The Rio Grande Valley Chapter of the Tejano Legend Pioneers Organization will celebrate 60 years of Tejano music with a Blast From The Past Open Jams Night on October 21 in Pharr, Texas.
The organization, founded by Eulalio “Lalo” Reyna in 2016 and has seven chapters across Texas, meets monthly to reminisce about the successful careers of Tejano legends and their music, which usually turns into jam sessions.
“They love to get together to talk and jam,” said Reyna.
Over the past few months, these meetings involved discussions about a 60 Years Tejano Legends Celebration. The Blast From the Past Open Jams Night was conceived and is scheduled for Friday, October 21, 2022, at the American Legion Post 101 (417 S. Cage Blvd.) in Pharr, Texas. Tickets are $5.00 all night.
The event will include performances from Valley Express Band, Gitano Band, The Cruisers, Los Chachos De Jesse Gomez, and Los Unicos. The artists performing are Cecilio Garza, Carlos Guzman, Eddie Perez, Richard Peralez, Ely De Hoyos, and Noe Pro. The Master of ceremonies is Rick Garcia.

The Tejano Legend Organization was founded back in 2016 by Eulalio “Lalo” Reyna and has expanded to seven Texas cities such as Corpus Christi, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Laredo, and the Rio Grande Valley.
