Shelly Lares is giving fans a free digital download of her final Las Vegas performance. “Little Miss Dynamite” performed for the last time at the annual Vegas Tejano Takeover last month and recorded her final encore performance which is now available.
The free download is part of the Ultimate Tejano Fan Experience sponsored by AARP, offering music fans unique and memorable experiences. The annual Vegas Tejano Takeover is the premiere gathering of Tejano and Conjunto music fans from across the nation presented by acclaimed Latino producer INGEÑUITY.
“AARP has done it again – giving fans the gift of music with Shelly Lares’ final Vegas performance forever in their music collection,” said Sarah Ruiz Chavez, President of INGEÑUITY and Creator of the Vegas Tejano Takeover. “The Ultimate Tejano Music Fan Experience sponsored by AARP is unparalleled in our curation of priceless and memorable experiences!”
Lares added, “It’s my way of saying thank you, I love you, I appreciate you, and of course, I will miss you.”
The Tejano icon previously announced her LMD Legacy Tour will be her final tour after she retires from performing at the end of the year after a 40-years on stage to pursue a career in nursing, but the singer, musician, producer, and songwriter plans to still be a part of the music industry.
“My being off the road is going to really be more beneficial to the industry,” Lares tells Tejano Nation. “I’ll be able to really contribute more time to mentoring, to producing, to helping my industry in any way that I can.”
