Originally from McAllen, Texas, and only 18 years old, Kate Kristol is one of the most promising young singers in the Regional Mexican genre. Her voice is unmistakable and her unique style has made her a favorite of a young generation.
After the success of “Tóxico”, a song she wrote together with producer Elias Medina and where the theme of the song is full of events happening today, Kristol returns with a Norteno Tejano style cumbia titled “Acuérdate.”
The song is a cover that was a huge success for African-American singer Ruth, several decades ago, and this version from Kate Kristol takes on a new look, bringing it to a new generation of music fans who enjoy classic cumbia hits.
The singer-songwriter has shown that she has a talent for music, and these new songs are just the result of that dedication and desire to succeed in the music industry.
