Destiny Navaira dropped a video teaser and the release date for her new single “Vacía,” the next single from her highly-anticipated sophomore album. It’s the follow-up to her international hit single “Me Da Gusto”
“Vacía will definitely bring out another side of me and my music,” Destiny commented.
The song was written by songstress Myrza Maldonado (daughter of Fernando Maldonado, composer of “Volver, Volver” and “Hermoso Cariño”) and is being produced by her sons Manuel Herrera Maldonado, head of Unimusik, Destiny’s label, as well as Alfonso Herrera, both Grammy-winning producers.

The song and the video teaser reveal the heavy presence of Lalo Morales (accordionist of Remedio) as well as the songwriter and bajo sexto player for La Firma, Aaron “Pantera” Martinez.
“The feel of family and connections is what my second album is all about, I am so blessed and excited to be working with amazing people and being able to hear it in these new songs,” added Destiny.
“Vacía” is scheduled for release on January 28, 2022.
