Today, I’m going to be sharing with you how to make the easiest and most delicious mashed potatoes, they are so fluffy and just seriously the best!
When making my mashed potatoes I don’t like to peel the potatoes before boiling, yes it’s easier to just peel them than boil but for me, I just feel like the potatoes absorb a lot of water making them not only feel but also taste different. (I’m very picky and like my food to be as flavorful). The potato ricer makes the mashed potatoes fluffy, I bought mine on Amazon, or you can use a colander, using the back of a large spoon or a smaller bowl with even pressure to push the potato through. If you don’t like the taste of garlic, you can skip it.
Keep in mind like every recipe and every household, and there are tons of variations that make this delicious recipe, you can constantly adjust it to your taste; I hope you enjoy it as much as my family and I do, and as always, if you do, please don’t forget to give me a big thumbs up, comment down below your thoughts and if you new to my channel, please hit that subscribe button so you can be part of our family!
Ingredients:
- 6 medium size russet potatoes
- 12 tbsp butter
- 3/4- 1 cup milk
- 7 oz media crema or half-and-half
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 tsp Lawry’s garlic salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 serving of love
Tip: if you want your potatoes to be more watery add more milk. You can use either salted or unsalted butter that’s just going to depend on how much extra salt you are going to add, I used salted.
