The 2020 Tejano Music Awards winner for Best New Female Artist will help kick off the home schedule for the Mavericks against the Houston Rockets at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas at 7:30 pm.

“I’m super honored to be singing the anthem for the very first home game of the season,” Saldivar shared via social media.

The Grand Prairie, Texas singer has performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” for other professional teams in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex area including the Texas Rangers, FC Dallas, and previous Mavericks home games.

“I love it. It’s definitely an honor to be able to do that, especially for a lot of military, the people that are going to be in the audience and actually listening that have dedicated their time and their service,” Saldivar tells Tejano Nation. “We’re proud of our country. I am definitely proud to be here and it’s definitely an honor and I love doing it for any sporting event.”

Saldivar even performed the national anthem for the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy during a solemn and dignified event in 2013 that reflected upon JFK’s life, legacy, and leadership.
