Sunny Sauceda announced his new album is ready and he’s inviting you to the After Party. The three-time Grammy winner shared the news via social media on Tuesday (Aug. 17).
Sauceda showed a copy of the album in a video posted to TikTok. “I just wanted to share it real quick, we got it, it’s hot off the presses,” he said. “It has ten songs on it. I should have called it the many shades of Sunny Sauceda because there is so many different sounds on this record.”
The album will feature the signature squeezebox sound of the accordionist and singer for his hardcore fans along with a bevy of new sounds.
“People had asked for some of the old school so we did some of that,” he said. “We did some of the new stuff, some of the new sounds we’re doing as of late. I experimented a little bit with this album. It’s not what you would typically call a cohesive record.”
“It’s kind of the like (our) show,” he added. “We play Tejano, Conjunto progressive, Conjunto old school, Tejano classic, Rock, R&B, so it’s a little bit of everything.”
Sauceda will debut the album, After Party, during the Vegas Tejano Music Week at the Tejano Music National Convention this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada where fans can purchase the album. It will be available on all digital music platforms soon.
