Austin-based group Maria y Cien Grados released the official music video for “Vamos A Bailar,” which is an undeniably danceable song that grabs you from beginning to end.
The song is an original cumbia written by multi-instrumentalist Juan Zea Garcia, who is also co-producer, and Jose Luis Fraga with special featured guest Xavier Mota on congas. Chris Garcia of Aim Records was executive producer.
Maria y Cien Grados had originally planned for the video release when the single was released last year however due to lead vocalist Maria Villarreal-Fraga and her husband both contracting and battling COVID-19 and to make matters worse both were hospitalized for over a week at separate hospitals fighting for their lives and not with family and children. The couple was released and recovered at home in private.
Maria and her husband are extremely grateful for all the support they received and the generous support of prayers and well wishes provided to her and her family during that time.
“Vamos A Bailar” from Maria Y Cien Grados is currently streaming on all digital platforms.
