The tune was written by award-winning songwriter Humberto “Beto” Ramon, who is recognized as one of the most prolific composers in Tejano music having penned hits for Tejano icons like Jimmy Gonzalez, Jay Perez, and Ram Herrera, to name just a few.

The song was produced by Brando Mireles, Jr. and recorded at the famed Legends Sound Studio in Corpus Christi, Texas featuring an all-star cast of musicians, including Mireles on keyboards, Jay Alaniz (formerly with Jimmy Gonzalez) on guitar and bass, Chente Barrera on drums and Joe Posada on sax.

“Qué Bonito Es” features an irresistibly catchy melody and great sing-along chorus that will immediately draw Tejano music fans to the dance floor. An official music video for the song is currently in production.

Estamos Unidos is the first album for Stevie D with Freddie Records released in December 2020. The meaning behind the album’s title is from the difficult year endured due to the pandemic.

“It’s all about the year, the separation, the politics – we’re just in a world that is just unprecedented,” Stevie D tells Tejano Nation. “The country felt like it was separated but really we’re one world and really need to be together on this and we need to act responsibly.”
