Magali Delarosa brings the cumbia fire with “Solo Necesito,” the latest single from her new album Corazón Rebelde and duplicates the same intensity with the official music video.
This track was written and produced by Carlos de La Rosa and Mike Perez of MAP MX Music.
“I wanted to really express the song through dance and fashion,” Magali tells Tejano Nation. “We wanted to captivate the audience that way and bring that cumbia fushion fire for our listeners. I hope my fans enjoy this music video as much as we enjoyed filming it.”
The fun visual was filmed by Baldemar Garcia at the Verona Event Center in Pharr, Texas, featuring choreographed dancing and amazing fashion created by Magali herself.
“Solo Necessito” is the latest release from the singer’s fourth album that features a fusion of cumbia rhythms, something that has become her signature sound.
“We definitely did a variety of the cumbia fusion, which is kind of my style, that’s what I’ve done on the last three albums,” she said. “You can expect a lot of heavy accordion on those songs as well but in a lot of different places that you wouldn’t expect. I think that’s what my producer is so good at. You wouldn’t think something would go somewhere, he puts it there and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh that’s amazing!’”
