International pop star Jennifer Peña officially returned to the music stage – and in a major way – as she beautifully belted out the national anthem before the Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez versus Billy Joe Saunders fight in front of a crowd of more than 73,000 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on May 8,
(ESPN.com reported that the crowd for the Alvarez-Saunders fight is believed to be the biggest gathering in the United States since COVID-19 became a pandemic.)
Peña, dressed in black pants with a light-colored blazer, had her hair pulled back and looked confident and relaxed as she wowed the crowd with her rendition of the national anthem, prompting roars from the crowd as she hit high notes and carried them out impressively.
The Latina songstress recently announced her return to music with a May 23 unplugged concert called, “Nuestra Nota,” which will take place from her home, and will also feature her husband and fellow Latin pop star Obie Bermudez. Get event and ticket information online.
