Leonel Correa of La Calma discussed the success of the smash hit of the summer, “Echame La Culpa” featuring Stefani Montiel, and shared details on the band’s upcoming album in a recent interview with Tejano Nation.
Tejano Nation’s Fanny Gurl caught up with Correa during the 2019 Tejano Music National Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. The singer and musician spoke about the collaboration with Montiel, that was produced by Gabriel Zavala, a cumbia version of the worldwide 2017 smash hit from Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Luis Fonsi and pop star Demi Lovato. The idea to record the duet happened during a holiday party last year. He added fans can expect more collaborations for the new album from La Calma, their first with new record label VMB Music Group, expected to be released in September.
