Neto Gutierrez released his latest single, “Chiquitita Linda,” from his upcoming debut solo album.

“It is a song I wrote about ten years ago and left on the back burner til now,” Gutierrez told Tejano Nation. “It’s a real simple cumbia and I wrote it with guys in mind that are just crazy about that one special girl.”

The original cumbia was produced by Eddie Perez featuring a trio of talented musicians including Mario Ortiz on keyboards, Chente Barrera on drums and Perez on bass, bajo quinto, guitar, accordion, and percussion.

“Chiquitita Linda” is the third single released from the highly-anticipated solo debut album from Gutierrez. He released “Eres Tu” in 2018 and a “Jimmy G Medley” dedicated to late Tejano icon Jimmy Gonzalez in April.

“My CD is almost done, hopefully within the next month or so,” said Gutierrez.

The San Antonio, Texas native is a singer, songwriter and the former lead vocalist of Tejano Highway 281.
