Young Tejano artist Tristan Ramos took to social media on Wednesday to give details on his emergency brain surgery that was performed last weekend.
The 12-year-old accordionist and singer, who was released from the hospital just days after the procedure, posted a video on Facebook and Instagram explaining the reason doctors rushed him into surgery.
“I want to let y’all know what happened,” he said. “I had fluid in my brain, so I was rushed for surgery and they had to release that fluid. Well, I’m doing a hundred times better now. Thank you for all your prayers, I have a lot of recovery still to do.”
According to previous posts from his Facebook page, Ramos was suffering from severe headaches and after several visits to the emergency room, he was rushed into immediate brain surgery.
Tristan released a music video for his second single, “Muevelo” featuring Eddie Jimenez of Da Krazy Pimpz, in October and is planning to release his debut album soon.
