“The song is basically telling us, what love is all about, when we are with that special someone,” Freddie Records said about the new single in a press release. “Very full of powerful, romantic words.”

Gonzalez felt that this album could be Grammy worthy when he posted a Facebook video while in the studio working on the album, “It is going to be awesome. Everything that we have done, the sound quality, the studio quality, everything is great. I smell like a little Grammy next. It’s a really good CD. It’s got the Jimmy G stamp on it.”

The 19th annual Latin Grammy Awards will air on Univision at 8:00 p.m. ET from Las Vegas, Nevada on November 15, 2018.

Gonzalez will also be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award and tribute performance at the upcoming 38th annual Tejano Music Awards in San Antonio, Texas on November 17.
