Rising Tejano singer Magali Delarosa has signed with Michael Salgado’s Zurdo Records, the label announced on Wednesday.
“It is such a great feeling to have achieved such a goal to be able to bring my music to a greater audience by working with an artist like Michael Salgado and become part of the success of Zurdo Records,” Delarosa told Tejano Nation.

Delarosa met Salgado and his son, Michael Salgado Jr., at the Tejano Music Awards last October and kept in contact with them over the next few months. She was asked to perform for the first time at Fan Fair 2018 as the opening artist for Michael Salgado.
“It was such an amazing experience and soon after that I was contacted by the Zurdo Records team about signing with the label,” she said. “I am very excited about my future with the new team and we plan to bring great material to everyone.”
The Pharr, Texas native released her debut album, Esta Vez, in December 2015 and her sophomore album, Amor Borato, last September.
