Singer and songwriter José launches into 2018 with a new single and music video for his latest single, “Duele El Amor,” from his debut album Serie De Eventos Desafortunados.

The song is written by Latin Grammy winner Juan Treviño and depicts a couples relationship in shambles.

“Although the man is in despair, his confidence in knowing that he has worked hard in the relationship,
will ultimately relieve his pain with love returning to him,” José said. “Be it her or a new love.”

“Duele El Amor” is the follow-up to José’s debut single “Hasta Nunca” featuring Stefani Montiel released in March 2017.

Why so long between single releases, you may ask?

“I’ve been working the backside of the music industry as much as I’ve been working the studio,” José posted on his Facebook page. “I’ve created my own record label, scouting new talent to add to my stable of artists, been shooting music videos for my album and working on new material for my next album release later this year. I guess to answer that question… I’ve been working, where’ve you been?”

José is wrapping up the video shoot for his next single, “Como Ella,” to be released next month.

“I’m keeping my commitment as a new artist to present new music as I feel it,” he said. “All the way with José 2018 TTMA’s! Now you know!”
