
Tony Guerrero y La Sombra released “That’s What’s Up” on Thursday (December 4), a collaboration with David Farias, Jaime DeAnda, and more.
The collaboration, which also features Jose “Pepe” Leon and Juan Sanchez Jr, is the title track from La Sombra’s upcoming new album. The follow-up to Look Who’s Back, released in 2016, that garnered three Tejano Music Awards in 2017 for the legendary band.
La Sombra, also know as the “Windy City Boys” because of their Chicago, Illinois roots, released over twenty full-length studio albums featuring songs in both Spanish and English. The legendary group has been credited with influencing the Tejano and cumbia music genre in terms of musical style, dress, and concert performances as well as a generation of newer artists including the Kumbia Kings.
