Chris Perez shares photo of Selena’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star night before unveiling

Chris Perez posted a photo of Selena‘s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame late Thursday night, just hours before the official unveiling on Friday.

The widower of the late Latin music icon shared a photo of the Star with the caption, “Had to stop by, give a kiss and say ‘I’ll see you tomorrow'”.

On Wednesday, Selena’s sister, Suzette Quintanilla, posted video and photos of her helping place Selena’s star on the sidewalk and fans commented that Chris Perez should be there too.

Perez confirmed via Facebook last week that he’d be in Los Angeles for “a few things going on out there”, including recording in the studio and an appearance at the Guadalajara Film Festival in Hollywood. He added, “the most important thing being the unveiling of Selena’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!”

The ceremony will take place Friday, November 3rd at 6:30 p.m. in front of the Capitol Records building, located at 1750 Vine Street in Hollywood, CA. The event will streamed live www.walkoffame.com.
