Da Krazy Pimpz bring conjunto fusion to Arizona [VIDEO]

A new fusion Conjunto sound was heard in Arizona at the Utra Star Ak-Chin Casino in Maricopa, Arizona on September 22, 2017. Da Krazy Pimpz from Eagle Pass, Texas, razzled and dazzled the crowd with their flashy jackets and smooth swagger.

In 2007, Da Krazy Pimpz began their career under the wing of Gary Hobbs. Signing to his AMMX Records for a four year contract. The band now have their own new record label Bordertown Records.

Lead vocalist Eddie Jimenez introduced a new band member, Juan Sanchez Jr, / bajo sexto. Jimenez stated that Sanchez brings a new energy to the band. He played in his father’s band Juan Sanchez Y Erupcion.

Jimenez introduced his big brother, Jaime Jimenez. Jaime played the guitar for the famous Tejano star Elsa Garcia at the age of 19. Eddie followed Jaime to the performances which influenced him to be a musician.

Da Krazy Pimpz have collaborated with artists such as Jessica Sanchez, Sunny Sauceda and Elida Reyna. The band will be releasing a Live Album in November. Also, with this year’s 37th Annual Tejano Music Awards upon us on October 21st, the Krazy Pimpz are nominated for Conjunto Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Eddie Jimenez for Male Vocalist of the Year.

Also in the plans forDa Krazy Pimpz is the Conjunto Cruise III with David Farias setting sail February 24 – March 3, 2018. The band has been added to the exciting lin- up with Max Baca and Los Texmaniacs, Conjunto Romo, Hector Gonzales and Linda Escobar. For more info to to www.davidfariasconjuntocruise.com
