Grupo Quemado released their latest single “Ay Como Cambian Las Cosas”, featuring David Lee Garza and Jessy Serrata. It’s believed to be the last recording made by Tejano legend Serrata, before he passed away on August 4.

It’s the third single released by Quemado from their new album A Tribute to Joe “Wajo” Carmona on Q-Zone Records, produced by Abraham Quintanilla.  The album also features guest appearances by David Marez, Pete Astudillo, Isabel Marie Sanchez, Adalberto Gallegos, Carlos Guzman and many more.

Joe “Wajo” Carmona was a songwriter, composer and musician. He played with the original Los Dinos (with Abraham Quintanilla), Freddie Martinez, and various other Tejano bands before starting a band of his own known as Quemado. While with Quemado, Carmona released the hit “Hoy Soy Feliz”.  He died at the age of 56 on August 3, 2004.

A Tribute To Joe “Wajo” Carmona is available now at all digital platforms.
