
A.B. Quintanilla was placed on the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office Top 10 Mosted Wanted list on July 31 for non-payment of child support, but he has a history of missed child support payments dating back to 2011, court records show.
According to MySA.com, court records from Fort Bend County show an arrest warrant was issued for the Grammy winning musician in July 2015 after he was found in contempt of court for not paying child support.
The former Kumbia Kings member turned himself into Nueces County on Aug. 5, 2015 for the charge and was ordered to pay $36,809 in unpaid child support and interest, according to court records, MySA.com reports.
He did not make a majority of his child support payments between July 2011 until June 2015, making only 10 payments in those four years.
Quintanilla has eight children, according to People Magazine.
