Tejano stars from the past, present and future shared their experiences in the first ever 'Women of Tejano' panel in the Rio Grande Valley.

Since the 1920’s and 30’s, women have played a big role in the world of Tejano music. Tejano stars from the past, present and future shared their experiences in the first ever ‘Women of Tejano’ panel in the Rio Grande Valley.

Artists like Eva Ybarra, Shelly Lares, and Veronique Medrano were at South Texas College to talk about how the industry has evolved and grown in recent years. Little Miss Dynamite Shelly Lares says the digital age is making it possible for many up and coming artists to succeed.
