Albert Zamora in the studio working on next album [VIDEO]

Albert Zamora has been working on his next album at the Freddie Records studios in Corpus Christi, Texas, according to a video shared by the legendary record label.

The video posted on the Freddie Records official Facebook page features Zamora working on a new tune with other musicians for his upcoming album. The singer, songwriter and accordionist gives viewers a behind the scenes look at recording a song. The “Accordion Prince” shared a lesson in Conjunto 101.

“In Conjunto 101, we start with the foundation first, which is the drums, and from there we do the bass,” Zamora said. “After we do the bass, we do the bajo, then we put the accordion on there and then last, but not least, we do the vocals.”

Zamora posted on his on Facebook page that he just finished up the final songs for the new project.

“Was in the studio yesterday and today,” Zamora posted. “I just got done with the final two songs. ALL GLORY TO GOD!”

No word on a released date for the new album, but Tejano Nation will have the details as they become available.
