AMARILLO, Texas — Tejano Nation contributor Karaoke Joe Casas talked with Mary Martinez, owner of La Frontera Mexican Food Restaurant in Amarillo, Texas, who hosts an annual block party with Tejano music, a car show and more.

The 2016 edition of the block party featured Da Krazy Pimpz on September 4, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Los Barrios de Amarillo scholarships.

Martinez was honored with recognition from the Tejano Music Awards for her over 30 years of service to Tejano music and giving back to the community.
