A cellphone video, posted on Instagram, picked up the audio while the track was being listened to in the recording studio.

“I have never stopped performing this song,” Frankie J posted on Facebook. “It is a must on all of my live band shows or even acoustic shows. It created some magical moments for me then and continues to do so today! Performing it in San Antonio TX two weeks ago for Tejano Thursday, reignited something inside of me. I love singing this song and will never stop until the Lord calls me to heaven.”

Frankie J recently reunited with former Kumbia Kings members DJ Kane, brothers Alex and Slim Ramirez for a free concert with Tejano Nation radio affiliate KXTN 107.5 FM in San Antonio, Texas.  The former members performed on stage together for the first time in over 12 and treated fans to Kumbia Kings hits, as well as hits from each former member’s other projects.

No word on a release date yet for the remake of “Si Una Vez” by Frankie J, but Tejano Nation will have the full version of the single when it drops, until then, enjoy the audio below.
