Sarah Monique sets out for Florida performance on June 10

Sarah Monique made the announcement via Facebook, she’s heading to Immokalee, Florida, on June 10 at Club Studioi.

Tejano Nation San Antonio contributor Mingo Mariano caught up with the 2014 Tejano Music Awards Best New Female Artist nominee and asked her how she felt about going to Florida to perform for the first time.

“I can’t even begin to describe to everyone how I feel about my first gig outside of Texas, it hasn’t fully hit me yet but it’s slowly starting to sink in as I see the amazing response on social media,” said Sarah Monique.

The singer went on to say this would not have been possible without the help of her music producer, Eric Avalos of Chavalos Music Inc., her band and management team.

After returning from Florida, Sarah plans to be in the studio working on her new album with the hopes of a summer release date.

According to the singer, her new single, “Volar,” is doing very well and has received heavy airplay in Texas and the U.S.
