The family of Tejano music legend Emilio Navaira, who passed away on Monday, held a press conference in San Antonio on Wednesday (May 18). Raulito Navaira (brother), Emilio IV and Diego (sons), along with Destiny Navaira (neice) all spoke about the Tejano music legend at the press conference.

Emilio will never be forgotten, he proved to be a great performer and very nice person with a personality you don’t see often in performers! He showed he loved his music and his fans! Although I was not a fan due to different style’s of music i did know who he was and I did always held him in highs respect he was a great San Antonio talent he had a great voice and great songs that touch your soul its takes very special to do that and that he did we an icon in San Antonio..RIP
