jtagle-sabesFormer Sonidos Del Barrio frontman J Taglé  has released his latest solo single project, “Sabes Que Te Quiero.”

The track is a remake of a song that J. Taglé wrote with his first band Valor from the album Enigma, released in 2000 by Hacienda Records.

“I was listening to whole album and thinking, ‘If I knew then what I know now and they let me produce this album, it could have been FIRE!’,” J told Tejano Nation. “Then the song came on and I started playing along with it on my keyboard. I remembered the magic I felt when piecing together the first few chords. From there I started changing the arrangement of the song and that magic came back.”

The producer side of him came out and he started re-working the song.

“I could hear an accordion screaming to be heard on the track,” he said.  “After I finished recording the bass, drums, guitar, accordion, keys myself came the hard part…lyrics.”

The songwriter began to look for something inspiring to help him with the lyrics.

“I tapped into what the song made me feel, I looked to my biggest inspiration, my wife Nina, he said. “I wanted her to know how much I feel for her and what she is to me.’

This song was written, produced, arranged and recorded by J. Taglé  and is available for download from iTunes.
