
Amber Rose made her triumphant return to music with her performance at the Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair 2016 on Thursday (March 17).
The 32-year-old singer took over the San Saba South stage Thursday afternoon belting out her hit songs to the delight of fans who came to see the star’s return.
“I loved performing at the Fan Fair,” Amber Rose told Tejano Nation. “Being back on the stage was an amazing and was missed very much. The fans were awesome and made me feel like I never left.”
Fans will remember the singer’s hits “Candy Boy” and “Chicas Quieren Gozar,” a Spanglish remake of Cyndi Lauper’s 1983 hit “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” released when Amber Rose was just 14 years old.
Amber Rose plans to head back to studio soon and back to the stage performing for fans.
“I hope to continue with performing again in the future, as well as getting new material out there for you all,” she said.
The singer’s next public performance is scheduled for the Poteet Strawberry Festival on April 8 at 8:00 p.m. and April 10 at 4:00 p.m. on Stage #12 Telemundo San Antonio / Armed Forces Pavilion.
In 2010, Amber Rose founded Inaz Cosmetics with co-founder Eric Garcia.
