
Savannah Votion signed with Zurdo Records on Thursday (January 22), the record label owned by Michael Salgado.
“I am excited to announce that will be working with Michael Salgado under #zurdorecords this is a dream come true,” Votion announced on her Facebook page. “I thought long and hard about my dreams and with God on my side I believe in making dreams come true. I have worked hard for this and will continue to keep pushing forward.”
The 27-year-old singer is already in the studio recording new music and posing for photo shoots, according to photos on the Zurdo Records Facebook page.
Votion is best known for her appearance on the singing competition American Idol in January of 2013. The San Antonio singer made it to Hollywood, but was eliminated after a few rounds.
