La Peligrosa releases ‘Porque Te Sueño’ [AUDIO]

Tejano newcomer La Peligrosa has released her second single “Porque Te Sueño.”

“The song is about missing someone,” La Peligrosa told Tejano Nation. “You know they are gone, no longer in your life but you can still feel their presence. So you continue to wait because you will see them in your dream.”

The original song, written by her cousin, is the second single from the singer’s debut album Hoy, released on December 15, 2015.  The 12-track album, which includes eight original songs, showcases a variety of music styles while maintaining the classic Tejano sound, from Conjunto-progressive to up-beat catchy cumbias.

The singer from St. Paul, Minnesota, known for her flamboyant style and unforgettable persona, recorded with Rolando Revilla from Toldeo, Ohio-based Revilla Productions.  This project was driven by a deep passion for Tejano music stemming from La Peligrosa’s childhood.  After experiencing much loss, the singer decided Hoy was the time to step up to the mic and live for today – for tomorrow is never promised.
