Deadline for 2016 Tejano Conjunto Festival poster contest approaching

The deadline for the 2016 Tejano Conjunto Festival en San Antonio poster contest is January 29, 2016.

The annual contest awards $1000 to the overall winner and their selection becomes the official poster commemorating the 35th Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival en San Antonio set for May 11-15, 2016.

The contest has four categories including middle school, high school, college/university and open to public.  The top selection in each category receives $100, while honorable mention in each category receives $50. The entry fee is $15 and does not apply to Middle School and High School entries. To enter the contest and get more details, just click here.

The cash awards will be presented to the winning artists at the 35th Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival en San Antonio 2016 Opening Night Ceremonies on Friday, May 11 at Rosedale Park.

The 35th Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival, presented by the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, will be held from May 11-15 at the Guadalupe Theater and Rosedale Park in San Antonio featuring star-studded performances by Conjunto Music Hall of Fame award winners as well as national and international conjunto musicians.
