Miranda receives three nominations at Hispano Music Awards

Tejano newcomer Miranda received three nominations for the 25th annual New Mexico Hispano Music Awards.

The 15-year-old singer from Albuquerque is up for Female Vocalist of the Year, Conjunto Norteño Song of the Year for “Diosito Mio” and Bilingual Song of the Year for “Angelito.”

” I’m really excited,” the singer told Tejano Nation. “I am honored to be nominated with such amazing and talented artists and friends of mine. I’d like to congratulate everyone, wish the best of the luck to each and everyone.”

For the past two years, Miranda has been a part of the Children’s and Youth categories. She was nominated in 2013 and 2014 for Youth Song of the Year and Youth Artist of the Year.

The New Mexico Hispano Music Awards will take place at the Ohkay Casino Conference Center in Espanola, New Mexico on January 16, 2016. For the list of additional nominees, visit nmhma.org.
