Revo Live Band released a remastered version of “Pobre De Mi Corazon” featuring DJ Kane on Friday (Jan. 1).
“It has been an honor to record alongside the vocals responsible for most of the Kumbia Kings hits,” the band posted on their official Facebook page. “Thank you DJ Kane for believing in Revo Live Band and taking the time to record this original song with us.”
What’s different than the previous version? Tejano Nation caught up with the Brownsville, Texas based band about the remastered track.
“In this version we re-recorded vocals and allowed everyone to hear a bit more of DJ Kane,” the band told Tejano Nation. “Other than being an amazing vocalist, he is loved by everyone everywhere. We also recorded the accordion, better sounding percussion, and took the time to master it with better equipment.”
“Pobre De Mi Corazon” was originally released in December of 2014. Revo Live Band’s debut album, Bailar Es Mi Vicio, was released in September 2015.
“This is one of our RevoManiacs favorite songs, and this is our way of saying, thank you,” the band added.
